A woman who likes music asked, “Who is your favorite singer?”
She would have expected to hesitate because I went to various singer performances.
Soon after saying a name, she laughed, “Is it an immediate answer?”
The name I answered immediately was Nick Lowe.

The first thing that attracted me to Nick Lowe was how familiar it was.
It’s pop, light, and fun and easy to listen to.
Not exaggerated and not heavy, I’m glad that I can listen naturally.

Feeling the coolness of an adult with no strength on his shoulders, I collected all of his works.
It was his work that inspired me to start collecting Pub rock LP & CDs.

I collect LPs & CDs of many singers and I go to their performances, but Nick Lowe is the one who likes all the works.
35 years have passed since I learned about his work in 1985, and he is 71 years old.
Last summer I was happy to see his performance at Billboard Tokyo.

As a fan, I pray for his health and hope that he will continue his musical activities for a long time.
I will continue to buy his work and keep going to his performances in Japan.
