I saw BOB DYLAN at Nippon Budokan on 10/03/1986.
Co-stars are TOM PETTY & THE HEART BREAKERS.
It was a very valuable experience because TOM died suddenly.
I remember seeing it through the telephoto lens on the 2nd floor in the southwest row D, number 24, so I probably brought the camera with me hidden.
I wasn’t listening to all of BOB DYLAN’s numerous works, and I could only buy the just released 3-disc Biograph in advance.
Also for TOM PETTY, I could only buy Pack Up The Plantation: Live!
But even now, I still like this two-disc set among TOM PETTY’s works.
As for TOM PETTY, I remember dancing in a way that was difficult to express.
Perhaps at the time, I could only understand an easy-to-understand macho hero type like Bruce Springsteen.
With the performance of this day as an opportunity, I started to buy TOM PETTY’s works, and I felt the world of his songs.
BOB DYLAN has been a very famous person since then, and was admired by my senior teachers.
The honest impression is an unfriendly man wearing a leather jumper.
Even so, I have been to his performances many times after that, so I think he is one of my favorite singers.
See you soon.
