What do you call a safety support car in the English-speaking world?
It is a car with multiple driving support functions such as automatic braking, and it seems to be in line with the nationally recommended car safety concept.

For me, who has been using a Manual Transmission car for a long time, I would like to say that it is an extra care, but I can no longer deny the possibility of causing a rear-end collision accident with aging.

The day before yesterday, when I sent my family’s car for repair, the substitute car was this safety support car, so I tried it.

The first discomfort I felt was that the engine automatically stopped every time I stepped on the brakes like a shared bus.
I am scared because I am not used to it when I try to turn at the right time.

I was surprised that the engine suddenly stopped with a warning sound even when I was trying to get closer to the distance with the previous car waiting at the red light.
I didn’t feel it was too close, but it was closer than the set distance.

However, I’m destined to be old, but not young, so I think the day will come when I can take advantage of this feature.
After all I don’t like accidents and I don’t want to make anyone unhappy.
