Road conditions are narrow in Japan as well as in the land.
The idea of a kei car may not be understood by Americans.
The roads in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, where I used to go when I was a student, were so narrow that it was difficult for them to pass each other.
At the time, around the end of the Showa era, more than 30 years ago, the circumstances may be different, but it may not change in the 23 wards of Tokyo, which is basically small.
By the way, I was surprised that Shimokitazawa Station on the Odakyu Line, which had a hard time driving on a narrow road, had been converted into a subway.
However, the surrounding road conditions remained narrow.
Chiba prefecture, where I was born and still lives, is a little rural, so the road is not as narrow as that of Tokyo’s 23 wards.
So I can take the Peugeot 406 Coupe as my usual car.
If there is little traffic, I would like to ride a stick shift car that is fun to drive, but if the traffic is too severe, stick shift is hard.
It would be best if the traffic was gone.
See you soon.
