It was 22/07/1987 that I was able to see Huey Lewis & The News and Bruce Hornsby and the Range at the Korakuen stadium, which is not now.
I think both bands were in great shape after releasing the biggest hit song of their career.

I remember that both bands were very pleased with the hits played one after another under the great summer weather.
I’ve been listening to the way it is from Bruce Hornsby and the Range for the first time in a while, and I think it’s great to hear it now.

I still remember Huey Lewis playing Thin Lizzy’s song, The Boys Are Back in Town.
A childhood friend I went with was very pleased.

Actually I saw Huey Lewis & The News at Nippon Budokan on 03/12/1985, but I don’t remember.
This was simply due to my aging, not to their poor performance.
I went to Korakuen Stadium because the performance was good.
