For me, my first Three Kingdoms experience was the puppet theater Sangokushi, which was being broadcast on NHK.
I’ve been looking forward to every Saturday at 6pm for two years, just after graduating from high school.

The doll created by Kihachiro Kawamoto has a wonderful workmanship, and I think that it was a work of art that could withstand the emotions of watching.
I bought it when the whole DVD was released later, but I am surprised again by the fact that only 10 voice actors have created such long features.
There was also a scene in which the same voice actor had conversations between the acting characters.

Of the characters that appear, Guan Yu was still the most attractive to me.
In the scene of dying after being bitten by a weak villager, I cried while watching on TV, and as soon as the broadcast ended, I could not forget the experience of calling a distant friend and sharing my feelings.
Even more than 30 years later, I still feel like crying when I see this scene.

After that, I collected all 60 comics by Mitsuteru Yokoyama, which is popular in Japan.
I regret that I was scattered because of the opportunity not to lend it back to my friend.
Eventually, we will buy it again online.
