The first song of the album begins with a gentle piano.
A gentle, enveloping song.
Perhaps because it’s his own composition, the lyrics come in very smoothly.

His biggest hit, “You’re Only Lonely,” is also sung slowly with a new arrangement.
The arrangement of the 1979 top 10 hits is of course good, but the soothing taste of this album is also very nice.

After buying this album, I collected the original versions.
He rediscovered music he didn’t already own, such as Linda Ronstadt and Dixie Chicks.
I also personally imported a vinyl disk that was not imported to Japan.

I was able to see J.D.SOUTHER’s live performances at Billboard Live Tokyo on 16/08/2011 and 11/06/2015.
In 2011, I was happy to replay the song from “Natural History”.
