The seven CDs I gave to my friend, and the sixth was SONNY LAND RETH‘s “BOUND BY THE BLUES”.

When I was a university student, I was looking forward to getting off at Shimokitazawa station on the Odakyu line on the way home and searching for a used record at a record shop.
In February 1988, I went to a used record shop before going to John Hiatt’s concert, which I loved on the album “Bring the Family.”

When I said, “The guitarist who came to Japan this time is not Ry Cooder,” I was really surprised when the specialty store owner said, “No, the guitarist who came to Japan this time is better.”
The guitarist I didn’t know was SONNY LANDRETH who came to Japan at that time.

Then I collected SONNY LANDRETH albums.
On 26/05/2012, I also saw a joint live with Johnny Winter.
Please come back to Japan to hear his singing voice and slide guitar.
