Sangokushi Special Exhibition

I went to the Three Kingdoms Special Exhibition held at Tokyo National Museum on 15/09/2019.
The day was extremely hot and the venue was full.
I was tired just by arranging before the entrance, and I didn’t have enough physical strength to appreciate the exhibits after entering.

The Guan Yu statue used for the poster was a work from the late 15th to 16th centuries.
It was regrettable that there were few exhibits around the year 200 AD, the era of the Three Kingdoms, but I was convinced that there was no choice considering the times.

I’m still surprised that the stories of long-standing people fighting for hegemony continue to be created in various media and are loved even today.
There is Kantei-byo in Yokohama as well.
Once the Corona Erosion has settled down, I’d like to go to see it when it’s not crowded.

See you soon.
