Not only was he simply trying to improve his academic ability, he was also trying to teach children values ​​that were not found in textbooks.

One day, I remember that Mr. Ishitani told me that he was from Hiroshima prefecture and the tragic story after the atomic bombing.
That was my first experience in Hiroshima.

I could see the memorial service for the atomic bomb victims in Hiroshima and the memorial service for peace on TV this morning.
The words of the mayor of Hiroshima and the words of the children touched my heart.
I cannot help but pray for the victims of the atomic bomb.

August 9th is the day of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki, and August 15th is the anniversary of the end of the war.
On the front of the stone monument of the Hiroshima city memorial monument, “Please sleep peacefully, I will not repeat my mistakes.”
I myself should keep this feeling in mind.

I remember Mr. Ishitani delighted at the Hiroshima Toyo Carp’s first victory in 1975.
What is he doing now, I remember his face in the heat of the summer.
