His singing voice is special to me.
The wonderful voice is greatly influenced by the performance of the back band.
It can be as simple as his own guitar, or even in a band formation, like his famous early performance co-starring “The Rumour“, to make use of his vocals. I think that the true value of the wonderful singing voice will not be exhibited unless it is played by experienced members who can give due consideration.

His singing voice has an unforgettable personal experience.
At the end of my college life, I was driving a car to play all night and return home. When I was listening to his album “The Mona Lisa’s Sister” on my car stereo, tears burst into tears for no reason.
From the 8th song “Blue Highways” to the 9th song “Success”, I still remember clearly for some reason.
I was late to notice because of tears, and I was about to crash into the car in front of me, so I stopped suddenly. The car parked at the red light was a patrol car.
If I was asked about my duties, I was in a very embarrassing situation, but fortunately the green light soon turned up, so I turned left and escaped.

I wasn’t in time for the first performance in Japan in 1978, so I was waiting for another performance in Japan.
The solo performance in Japan in April 1993 was recorded live, but I’m happy to see my own screams as a child.

I was able to see him at Billboard Live Tokyo in September 2013.
Fortunately, all the members of The Rumor are still alive, so if the new coronavirus is resolved, I would like you to come to Japan together.
