I first bought the band’s album from Babylon And On, released in 1987.
I was fascinated by the fun sound world without any complaints and immediately started collecting other albums.
I was able to buy almost all solo works by Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford.

SMASH Corporation, the organizer of FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, mailed me a notice of the performance at Squeeze in Japan, and I was looking forward to it, but I remember it was cancelled.
A few years later, by the time I finally saw it in 1994, Paul Carrack had already left, and I couldn’t hear him sing Tempted.

In 2004, I went to “cafe gabowl” in Shibuya to see Glenn Tilbrook, but it was canceled because the Shinkansen was delayed due to heavy rain.
I remember there was a Japanese musician, Keiichi Suzuki, at the venue.

At 04042015, I finally saw Glenn’s solo live at STAR PINE’S CAFE in Kichijoji.
His son is also visiting Japan and I bought a CD-R and got a signature, but it’s a pity that I can’t find it right away.

I love their fun and pop music.
Once Corona’s wreck has healed, I hope they will come to Japan again as Squeeze.
