The Boss hasn’t performed in Japan since this solo tour in 1997.
After all, is it difficult in Japan to entertain his global popularity?
As one of the fans, I’m lonely that there is no Japan tour with The E Street Band since 1985 when I first visited Japan.
The venue at this time was Tokyo International Forum Hall A, which had just opened 20 days ago.
I remember that the brand new venue, which was built on the site of the former Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office, had to take the escalator to the 2nd floor for a terrifying time before getting to the seat.
I remember thinking that while watching the futuristic architectural structure, it was a venue more suitable for academic meetings than concerts.
I went with my friend’s younger brother, but I remember feeling tired of going to an unfamiliar place on my way home from work, and I felt sadly sleepy.
As you can see if you look for the stage image of Hall A, there is one Boss who has an acoustic guitar on a wide stage.
This is a brand-new venue with good air conditioning, and the seats are wide and comfortable, which is unusual for a Japanese venue.
Coming out that I have slept several times.
I hope this experience is not the last Boss performance in Japan.
See you soon.
