I got to know him because Nick Lowe was singing “Secret Heart” in the live opening song.
I found out Ron Sexsmith for the first time by investigating whether this song was Nick’s new song.

I was attracted to the debut album with great content and went to his live many times.
In 1999, I went to a joint live with Bill Bonk and David Poe who came to Japan as Ron’s bandmen.

I feel a certain sorrowful tone in Ron’s voice.
It always gently touches the listener’s heart.
I’ve bought all his albums, as far as I can currently look up on Discogs.

Although he continues to buy Ron’s work, he hasn’t been to his latest performance in Japan.
I would love to hear his song again in a calm venue.
It would be great if I could sit down slowly and listen while drinking.
