Neil Young & Crazy Horse

The performance at Nippon Budokan on that day was to replay their new album “Greendale” at that time.
Although I bought a DVD and a two-disc Japanese edition, I wasn’t personally satisfied with the unfamiliar musical-style main story.

The encore started with “Hey Hey, My My” and I was honestly relieved.
I was happy to hear “All Along The Watchtower”, “Rockin’In The Free World”.
I was happy with this live, but this time too, the broken heart episode was linked.

The day was my birthday, but two lovely women working in the same workplace were preparing to surprise me with a birthday song.
One of them was a woman I had a crush on at the time.
The workplace at that time was so busy that I couldn’t say much about taking paid leave.
Needless to say, I was disappointed to hear from people that their favor was lost at a later date.

To me, the lyrics written from Neil Young’s song from his unique perspective are fascinating.
It convinces the fact that his song has been heard by many listeners around the world.

Neil Young hasn’t come to Japan since he came to Japan at this time.
The songs and messages I heard from him at the Budokan that day haven’t faded at all in me.
I hope they will come to Japan again once the corona wreck has subsided.
I’m going to check the message that doesn’t fade.

See you soon.
